Fleet Development

Why Create a Local Catalina 320 Fleet?

Many of us belong to yacht clubs and do most of our sailing in our home waters. We may not have much contact with other C320 owners and the opportunity to share the ideas and experiences that are unique to this class. Why not explore the idea of creating a local fleet. The members of the fleet will decide what activities to pursue – cruising, technical workshops, racing, and social activities are a few possibilities.
If anyone is interested in forming a new C320IA Fleet, or in helping to breath life into a previously active one, email Vice Commodore Linda Field  or call her at (301) 362-1786.  We can provide you information that will help you get in contact with fellow C320 owners in your immediate area. Our intent is not to compete with the All-Catalina fleets but rather to help facilitate local fleet activity in areas where a significant number of C320’s may now exist.

Here is a link to some promotional literature you can use to solicit interest in your local area.
